Mille Gejl Jensen signs with North Carolina Courage

North Carolina Courage have today confirmed the signing of Danish international striker, Mille Gejl Jensen, who joins from Swedish runners-up BK Häcken.

Domestically, the 23-year-old winger has already proved a success at both Denmark’s Brøndby and Sweden’s BK Häcken, recording 27 and 15 goals respectively and experiencing title success at Brøndby in 2018/19. 

At an international level, Gejl already has 23 caps and 7 goals for Denmark, and was selected to represent Denmark at least summer’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2022.

Speaking about her new challenge, Mille says “I am beyond excited to be joining the North Carolina Courage.  I have heard really great things about the Club, the staff, the supporters and the talented group of players in the team.  It sounds like a strong, professional environment with the best opportunities to develop and I’m really looking forward to meeting up with the team and getting to play in front of all the fantastic supporters.”
