Kathrine Kühl signs on loan with Everton

Kathrine Kühl joins the Toffees until the end of the season

Everton have today confirmed the loan of Danish international talent Kathrine Kühl from Arsenal until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Kühl is already a prominent figure in the Danish national team, with 37 caps since her debut in June 2021, at just 20 years old. Kühl was recently a finalist for Danish Player of the Year, following a strong contribution for Denmark during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, her second appearance at a major international tournament.

At Arsenal, Kühl played a role in the Gunners push during the second half of the 2022/23 season, supporting Arsenal’s run to the semi-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League and helping to achieve a top-3 WSL finish and qualification for the Champion’s League. The loan at Everton is expected to provide additional opportunity to develop with further matches at WSL level.

Speaking about the opportunity, Kühl said: “It feels really good to sign for Everton. I’m really looking forward to this experience. My experience so far in the Women’s Super League has been really good. I feel I’ve learnt a lot having come from the Danish league to England. It’s a big step. Everton felt like a good opportunity for me to come and play alongside some really good players and hopefully gain some minutes.”

Good luck, Ké!
